Who We Are
Presently, I am National Director of YWAM Thailand. Cindy chairs the Bangkok Leadership Team and serves on my National Leadership Team. Our personal passion is “to facilitate others to reach their destiny in Christ”. That involves both Thai nationals and those who come to serve in Thailand from other nations. We love helping people find their place in the bigger picture of what God is doing.
We have 3 sons – Isaac, 15, studying at International Community School in Bangkok; Derek, 22, studying at Adelphi University in NY; and Seth, 27, studying at Assumption University in Bangkok. Seth, Cambodian, is married to Gabrielle (Gabbi), a New Zealander, who is studying online at Massey University of Auckland, NZ.
Cindy & I came to Thailand on our YWAM DTS (Discipleship Training School) outreach. We’ve been here ever since. During that DTS, God gave me the verse that said Abraham would be the “father of many nations”. For some reason, I felt that was a personal word to me from the Lord, but didn’t understand what it could mean. Today, my immediate family includes 3 nationalities – American, Cambodian and New Zealand – plus a Korean friend of Isaac’s who lives with us. And I oversee the staff of YWAM Thailand, which includes people from around 20 nations. So in that way, I have become the “father of many nations”.
